Sen. Orrin Hatch, R- Utah, cheekily responded to a video of him removing an imaginary pair of glasses that quickly made its rounds on social media on Tuesday.
“Oh you mean his invisible glasses from Warby Parker? They’re new, you’ve probably never heard of them,” the senator tweeted in response to the viral video from a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

In the video, Hatch is seen going through the motions of removing a pair glasses that didn’t exist while questioning Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, which caught the eye of Twitter users tuned into the hearing.

Hatch’s office followed-up in a tweet, explaining that the senator forgot his glasses in the morning and his Warby Parker tweet was just a joke.
