TD Bank workers from around the Washington area joined forces to help area organizations prepare to feed the hungry this holiday season.
More than 70 employees volunteered to aid food pantries in preparing food, stocking shelves and tidying up a care center. Nine area locations, including D.C. Central Kitchen and Capital Area Food Bank, benefited from the company’s Day of Service last Wednesday.
Terrence Kenny, TD Bank’s market president, said the company recognizes the importance of fighting hunger and its employees are “committed to improving the lives of those in the communities we serve.”
