An off-duty FBI agent shot a man in the leg by accident as he picked up a pistol he had dropped while performing a backflip at a downtown Denver nightclub early Saturday, police say.
Video obtained by Denver7, an ABC affiliate, shows the gun fall out of his waistband holster as he performed the acrobatic feat on a dance floor, surrounded by onlookers. The gun discharged as he picked it up from the floor.

Denver police say the man who was shot at Mile High Spirits Distillery and Tasting Bar was taken to a hospital is in in good condition after sustaining “non-life threatening injuries.”
The FBI agent, who has not been identified, was taken to Denver Police Headquarters and later was released to an FBI supervisor. The Denver police homicide unit is investigating the incident and any charges will be determined by the Denver District Attorney’s Office..
