No, it wasn’t someone breaking Maryland’s smoking ban. . . . Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, nearly 50 state legislators and an undisclosed number of lobbyists evacuated an Annapolis bar Thursday night after smelling smoke according to the Associated Press.
The event was a celebration for roughly 40 freshman lawmakers who had just finished their first terms in office.
