Trump-aligned super PAC spending $2M to hammer House Democrats in vulnerable districts

A super PAC aligned with President Trump is spending $2 million this week to hammer House Democrats in vulnerable districts who voted to start impeachment proceedings.

Pro-Trump efforts by America First Action are being split among digital spots, newspaper ads, and television commercials, according to ad buy-related documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Nearly 20 Democratic House members are on the receiving end of the AFA ads, which accuse the lawmakers of spurning constituent wishes to pursue impeachment of Trump over the Ukraine military aid affair.

Each TV ad costs almost $1,600 and will run in their respective markets through Thursday.

Additionally, each targeted district should expect a digital push, a combination of text messaging and social messaging, that will cost $400,000. Every district will also receive a full-page newspaper ad. This will cost $276,750.

The ads are targeting Democratic Reps. Cynthia Axne of Iowa, Anthony Brindisi of New York, Cheri Bustos of Illinois, Matt Cartwright of Pennsylvania, Joe Cunningham of South Carolina, Antonio Delgado of New York, Abby Finkenauer of Iowa, Jared Golden of Maine, Kendra Horn of Oklahoma, Andy Kim of New Jersey, Ron Kind of Wisconsin, Conor Lamb of Pennsylvania, Elaine Luria of Virginia, Ben McAdams of Utah, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Xochitl Torres Small of New Mexico, Abigail Spanberger of Virginia, Haley Stevens of Michigan, and Lauren Underwood of Illinois.
