NBC’s host Chuck Todd criticized on Sunday what he called a “cynical tweet” from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, which questioned where special counsel Robert Mueller’s reported grand jury in Washington, D.C., might be subject to bias.

Gingrich, an avid supporter of President Trump, seemed to take issue with the location of the grand jury because the population of Washington, D.C., overwhelmingly voted against Trump in the 2016 election, versus nearby West Virginia.
