Alex Jones offers $1M reward to find person he says put child porn on his servers

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones claimed he was the “victim” of a malware attack that planted child porn on Infowars computer servers.

The right-wing provocateur made the claim alongside his lawyer Norm Pattis in a Friday video. The duo said the FBI is investigating the claim. Jones went into a profanity-laden tirade, claiming the images had something to do with the lawsuit against him by families of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre that left 20 children and six adults dead.

“We all know who did it,” Jones quipped.

He pointed out an image of former Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Mattei, who is representing the families of the Sandy Hook victims.

“I am so sick of their filth and living off the dead kids of Sandy Hook,” Jones said.

During the rant, he offered $100,000 if someone could find the person who he claims planted the child porn, later bumping that number up to $1 million.

“You’re trying to set me up with child porn, I’m going to get your ass. One million dollars, one million dollars you little gang member. One million dollars to put your head on a pike. One million dollars, bitch. I am going to get your ass,” Jones yelled into the camera. “You’re not going to ever defeat Texas you sacks of shit.”

Jones said that he was going to “publish all the metadata” from the emails.

“I pray for divine intervention against the powers of Satan. I literally would never have sex with children. I don’t like having sex with children. I would never have sex with children, I am not a Democrat, I am not a liberal,” he said.

During parts of the video Pattis appeared to try to walk Jones back by telling him not to leap to conclusions.

“It’s easy to make an accusation, hard to prove it,” Pattis said.

The Daily Beast reached out to the FBI for comment. A bureau spokesperson could not confirm or deny that there was any sort of investigation, citing Justice Department policy.
