Both women seen in a viral video confronting a woman and her child wearing “Make America Great Again” hats have been arrested.
On Saturday, police in Wilmington, Delaware, arrested 21-year-old Camryn Amy, who is seen tearing up the mother and son’s posters and hitting others in the video, on charges of robbery, conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, and offensive touching. She was placed in the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute with a $45,000 bail.
Police also arrested 21-year-old Olivia Winslow on Friday, charging her with the same three crimes. She was subsequently arraigned and released.
The original video was published by the Students for Trump Twitter account on Thursday, describing the incident as “outside the DNC Convention tonight, radical leftists attacked a 7 year old boy.” The mother and son who were attacked have been identified as Abbey and Riley.
Abbey said the incident occurred after leaving a peaceful protest against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as they were waiting to be seated at a restaurant.
“I was holding a pro-Trump sign. My son was wearing his MAGA hat,” she said in a statement. “We were standing outside peacefully minding our own business waiting for our table. Suddenly, two Joe Biden supporters began to yell political epithets at my child. They ripped the sign from my arms and assaulted my seven year old son. The Joe Biden supporters laid hands on my child and ripped his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat from his head while cursing at him and pushing him over. The two Joe Biden supporters verbally and physically assaulted my child. My 7 year old child was sobbing and screaming.”

Riley, 7, is seen in the video objecting to the girls’ actions. “That’s somebody else’s hat!” he said. “I just wanted to sit on the floor,” he also appeared to say in tears.
“Mom, call 911!” he pleaded.
Court documents reportedly say Amy punched a man in the video with a closed fist, leaving him with a laceration on his lip.
