Former President Bill Clinton called President Trump’s Thursday decision to exit the Paris Agreement a “mistake.”
In a tweet, Clinton also said, “Climate change is real. We owe our children more. Protecting our future also creates more jobs.”

Trump’s decision to leave the climate agreement has been met with criticism on both sides.
Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called the decision a “devastating failure of historic proportions,” and Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, called it a “disappointment.”
