J.J. Watt to pay for funerals of victims in Texas school shooting

Houston Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt will pay the funeral costs of those killed in Friday’s mass shooting at a Santa Fe, Texas, high school.

The team confirmed to ESPN that Watt will pay for the funerals.

“Absolutely horrific,” Watt tweeted after the shooting.


Ten people were killed when a gunman using a shotgun and revolver started shooting at the high school located 30 miles from Houston.

The shooting suspect, 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, is being held without bond and has been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault on a peace officer.
