Mrs. Maryland 2006 Adrienne Watson Carver will participate in the program Without Storms, There Can Be No Rainbows at the Women?s Detention Center in Baltimore City.
Today?s event features motivational presentations from women?s health advocates, proponents of positive programs for incarcerated women as well as a performance by the detainees.
Carver, a former Baltimore County teacher and national director of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, owns Studio A Modeling, Etiquette and Dance Academy.
