A vehicle belonging to Rep. Cori Bush was recently struck by gunfire.
According to a Thursday report by KSDK-TV, the vehicle belonging to the Missouri Democrat was parked in the St. Louis area when it was hit. Bush was not in the vehicle during the incident and was not injured. At press time, there was no indication Bush was targeted.

Bush wrote on Twitter, “I’m touched by everyone who has reached out. Thankfully no one was harmed.”
She added, “any act of gun violence shakes your soul.”
“That’s why our movement is working to invest in our communities, eradicate the root causes of gun violence, and keep everyone safe,” Bush wrote.
The liberal lawmaker has previously said she hired private security after receiving death threats during her time in Congress. Some critics argued the move was hypocritical due to her position on gun policy, a charge Bush has disputed.
