Police identify pedestrian killed in Md. crash

Police have identified a pedestrian killed in a weekend crash in Anne Arundel County.

Police said Tuesday that 66-year-old Robert Mundell, of Hanover, died after he was struck by a car near Dorsey Road and Ridge Road in Hanover.

Investigators believe Mundell was walking in the roadway and mighthave been intoxicated at the time of the crash. There was also limited lighting and Mundell was wearing dark clothes, police said.

The crash happened at about 8 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the 2008 Mazda that struck Mundell, 26-year-old Matthew Lang, was unharmed.
