Ryan Gosling, star of movies such as “Drive” and Crazy, Stupid, Love” is primed to make his directing debut with the forthcoming “How to Catch a Monster.” It will also be the first screenwriting credit for Gosling. “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks is lined up to play the lead role. The film will be available for buyers at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, and production will likely begin in 2013.
