Trump hits Florida golf course with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus

President Trump hit the greens on his first day at Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach, Fla., with golf superstars Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, according to the White House.

“Today the President is playing a round of golf with legendary golfers Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods,” White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walter said in a statement Saturday.

The three men are playing at Trump National Jupiter, which is next to Nicklaus’ Bear’s Club golf estate. Woods is a Jupiter, Fla., resident.

Trump, first lady Melania, and their son Barron left Washington Friday night to visit his South Florida golf resort. The trio was supposed to spent two weeks there over Christmas and New Year’s, but the government shutdown forced Trump to remain in Washington until now.

Trump has been in office two years and spent a portion of 167 of those days at his golf properties, according to an NBC tracker.
