Actor Christian Bale, who portrayed comic book hero Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne in three films, thinks that Donald Trump might have actually thought he was Bruce Wayne in a meeting in the future president’s office at Trump Tower.
“I met him, one time,” Bale told Variety. “We were filming on ‘Batman’ in Trump Tower and he said, ‘Come on up to the office.’ I think he thought I was Bruce Wayne, because I was dressed as Bruce Wayne. So he talked to me like I was Bruce Wayne and I just went along with it, really. It was quite entertaining. I had no idea at the time that he would think about running for president.”
Bale, in the interview, would go on to reference Trump as “Individual No. 1,” which is the speculated identification of Trump in documents filed by special counsel Robert Mueller.
Film crews for Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” trilogy used Trump Tower’s exterior as the fictional Wayne Enterprises headquarters in the final film, “The Dark Knight Rises,” which Trump said on Twitter to keep an eye out for when moviegoers went to see the film.
Dark Knight Rises is projected to gross over $180 million this weekend. Remember to watch for Trump Tower!

After Bale left the franchise along with director Nolan, Trump was confident that Ben Affleck would handle the role well.
Everyone should calm down. @BenAffleck is going to do a great job as Batman.
