New York Times Takes Note of RunMitchRun.com

The New York Times writes about Indiana governor Mitch Daniels, who will give the Republican response to the State of the Union address tonight, and reports:

A new online petition drive was launched Saturday night by the Web site runmitchrun.com. William Kristol, editor of the conservative Weekly Standard and one of Mr. Daniels’s most vocal cheerleaders, posted a picture of the motorcycle-riding governor on his blog this weekend under the headline, “A Candidate to Be Drafted Later?”
Some Republicans see a scenario where Mr. Gingrich triumphs in the Florida primary, igniting an effort to lure someone like Mr. Daniels or former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida into the race as a foil to the former speaker.

The website, runmitchrun.com, is here.
