A news and opinion website published Wednesday what it said was White House senior adviser Stephen Miller’s cellphone number.
Splinter shared the number, which the Washington Examiner will not publish, while suggesting readers should call him about the Trump administration’s zero tolerance policy on illegal border crossings resulting in family separations.
The article, which doesn’t list an individual author, describes Miller as a “wolfish young Trump whisperer” who was instrumental in devising the president’s immigration policy.
“We all know that Donald Trump is a great fan of facilitating direct feedback from the public, because he personally published the cell phone numbers of both his Republican primary opponent Lindsey Graham and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos. So it is fair to assume he would support the public’s right to call (or text) Stephen Miller,” the article reads.
The article does not say how the number was obtained.
Splinter is owned by the Gizmodo Media Group, which is a subsidiary of Univision Communications.
