Wife of Orlando shooter arrested in California

The wife of the man who shot and killed 49 people at an Orlando nightclub last summer was arrested near San Francisco Monday in connection with the shooting.

A federal law enforcement source confirmed Noor Salman, wife of Omar Mateen, was captured in California. The official stated Salman is charged wit haiding and abetting Mateen and giving material support to ISIS. She’s also being charged with obstruction of justice, according to the official.

Mateen went on a rampage at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando that resulted in the largest mass shooting in history on June 12. He killed 49 people and wounded dozens more.

Salman was interviewed in the wake of the attack but investigators determined she didn’t tell them everything she knew about the attack, according to the report. She’s expected to be in court on Tuesday.
