President Trump and his lawyers are preparing a report to counter special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings in his investigation into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia, and already has dozens of pages at the ready.
“It has been incorrectly reported that Rudy Giuliani and others will not be doing a counter to the Mueller Report. That is Fake News. Already 87 pages done, but obviously cannot complete until we see the final Witch Hunt Report,” Trump wrote on Twitter Friday morning.

“We will be doing a major Counter Report to the Mueller Report,” Trump said in a second tweet. “This should never again be allowed to happen to a future President of the United States!”

Trump’s response to Mueller’s final report has been the subject of endless speculation in the press. Several articles have claimed recently there has been no progress by Trump’s personal lawyer and former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, to prepare a counter-document.
Trump’s tweet confirmed his team is working on it, but also said it won’t be released until Mueller’s report is out.
This week, Mueller team is filing sentencing recommendations on three former Trump officials, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who has been cooperating with Mueller. On Friday, similar documents will be filed in court related to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.
