President Trump’s Jan. 3 assertion that he has a “bigger” nuclear button than North Korea is the “spasm of a lunatic,” according to a North Korean newspaper.
“The spasm of Trump in the new year reflects the desperate mental state of a loser who failed to check the vigorous advance of the army and people of the DPRK,” said Rodong Sinmun, the paper for the Workers’ Party of Korea. “He is making (a) bluff only to be diagnosed as a psychopath.”
Trump had tweeted two weeks ago that, “I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
More recently, Trump insisted he and Kim “probably have a very good relationship,” though the North Korean op-ed suggests they may not agree with Trump’s assessment.
