She’s crestfallen The Good Wife called it quits after seven seasons of Julianna Margulies building an ascendant legal career despite her charismatic, cheating politician ex-husband dragging down her credibility. “It’s done! I am so sad. I really am, it’s really a loss,” she said.
But, on the bright side, “Madam Secretary, however, is coming back, so that’s something to look forward to.” On Madam Secretary, Tea Leoni plays a secretary of state who frequently runs afoul of the rules of her vaunted office, ignoring pesky protocol.
Clinton disclosed her love of these two girl-power political dramas during a Colbert appearance last fall. She also mentioned that she and Bill make time to binge-watch Bill’s favorite, House of Cards, together at home.
Many couples facing chronic communication breakdown let TV fill the stony silence rather than confront each other’s imperfections and “process the pain.”
