President-elect Trump has been in regular communication with his predecessor President Obama, said senior adviser Kellyanne Conway.
Obama and Trump spoke for about 40-45 minutes on Saturday, said Conway on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
Conway didn’t disclose the nature of the conversation, saying that they “get along nicely. They disagree on many things. That’s not going to change.”
Conway then mentioned the nascent recount effort from Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein, who filed for a recount in Wisconsin and wants to do so in other states.
“There is a respect for the process and the peaceful transition of power, which is why this recount by Jill Stein and now the Hillary people is just so confounding and disappointing,” she said.
Clinton’s campaign didn’t call for the recount, but said it would participate in the process.
