ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — More than 250 soldiers in a New York Army National Guard aviation unit are back home from the Persian Gulf.

National Guard officials say the soldiers in the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade arrived home over the weekend after demobilizing at Fort Hood. They arrived at the Texas Army base earlier this month after serving overseas since December.
