Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted to the firing of FBI director James Comey, telling a television reporter Wednesday it will have no “effect” on relations between the United States and his country.
“There will be no effect,” Putin, clad in hockey gear, told a CBS reporter through a translator. “Your question looks very funny for me, don’t be angry with me. We have nothing to do with that.”
Putin added: “President Trump is acting in accordance with his competence, in accordance with his law, in accordance with his constitution.”
