Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy warned Wednesday that mass shootings are being planned all over the country, and that everyone is likely to be affected as the tragic incidents continue to proliferate.
“This is coming to your neighborhood,” the Democratic governor said on CNN. “This could affect your grandchild, or your child. You’re going to see people in your state killed in restaurants, and movie theaters, and schools, and in churches.”

“Why can I say that? Because that’s all we’ve seen since Sandy Hook,” he added.
Malloy said Florida has already seen two of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history, and said other attacks are likely being planned already.
“There are people out there now, perhaps in your community, where you live or where your family lives back in your home state, there are people there planning the next mass attack,” he said.
President Trump on Tuesday said he is pushing for a ban on bump stocks, an accessory that allows semi-automatic guns to fire even faster. He also said he supports a law that aimed at making sure government agencies report incidents to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System that might prevent people from buying a gun.
