Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani accomplished a feat Tuesday evening last achieved by Babe Ruth in 1918.
“Shotime” recorded his 10th win of the season, making him only the second player in MLB history to have 10 or more wins as starting pitcher and 10 or more home runs in the same season. Ohtani and the Angels defeated the Oakland Athletics 5-1 Tuesday evening.

Ohtani and Ruth are the only players in MLB history to achieve the feat. Ed Rile and Bullet Rogan accomplished the feat in the 1920s in the Negro Leagues.
The two-time All-Star and reigning American League MVP has had 25 home runs this season, along with 10 wins as starting pitcher. When Ruth achieved the feat, he had 13 wins and one home run.
