Melania Trump is boosting her public speaking skills with media training

First lady Melania Trump is working on her public speaking skills ahead of her official move to Washington, D.C., in two months.

“She’s been getting media coaching to make her more comfortable speaking,” a source close to the first family said, according to a report published Thursday. “She’s ready. She’s doing everything but packing.”

Trump is said to be diving into her role as first lady ahead of her assuming the role on a full-time basis once 11-year-old Barron finishes the school year in late May.

Stephanie Grisham was named deputy press secreatry of the first lady’s office on Monday, putting the final touches on the office ahead of her arrival, according to the New York Daily News.

Despite Trump’s longstanding plan to move to Washington in early summer, some are unhappy she did not relocate to the White House in January when her husband was sworn in.

More than 400,000 people have signed a Change.org petition that seeks to have the Trump family compensate New York City and Secret Service for the $146,000 it costs per day for Melania and Barron Trump’s security details.
