Donald Trump packed them in at a Saturday rally in Vegas, comparing himself to legendary entertainer Wayne Newton.
“Thousands of people trying to get in,” the presumptive nominee said at the Mystere Theater in Las Vegas. “TSA lets them in … [but it’s] not working out so well. They didn’t bring enough machines.”
“I don’t know if Wayne Newton has that problem,” Trump quipped. “We’ll have Wayne at the inauguration.”
Trump delayed the rally in order to fill the theater, including the adjacent restaurant and conference rooms, he said. “If I had three empty seats … they would say ‘oh, it’s terrible,'” he said, saying every room is full.
