NEW YORK (AP) — An adult and a child are hospitalized after a shooting in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
The fire department says it happened around 7:20 p.m., Saturday at 2321 Mermaid Ave.
The victims were taken by ambulance to Lutheran Hospital.
The adult is listed in serious condition. The child had minor injuries.
A police spokesman said they had no immediate information available.
