WATCH: Catwalk crasher joins models for Chanel fashion finale

A French YouTube prankster crashed the runway at the Chanel fashion show in Paris and joined top models strutting down the catwalk.

Marie Benoliel, known online as Marie S’Infiltre, often uses her platform to mock the French upper class. Benoliel, in a checkered coat and skirt, joined the Chanel fashion show on Tuesday in her latest stunt.

Security guards rushed to pull the 28-year-old prankster out of the line but apparently could not pick her out from the dozens of top models who were part of the show. Gigi Hadid, a model who was in the show, ended up walking Benoliel off the stage.

Several attendees at the event caught video of the runway crasher and posted them on social media.

“Best Chanel finale video ever: Spot the catwalk- crasher! And spot the security guys running after her!” New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman said.

“Someone stormed the runway finale and joined the models,” Women’s Wear Daily executive editor Booth Moore posted.

“A woman literally just CRASHED the Chanel finale and Gigi Hadid just bounced her off stage, what an iconic moment,” Fashionista.com Editor-in-Chief Tyler McCall said.
