Mugshot of Nancy Pelosi’s husband released

A mugshot of Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has been released after he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence in California last month.

Paul Pelosi, 82, was booked at Napa County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher on May 29 and was released several hours later. He is expected to appear in Napa County Superior Court at 8:30 a.m. PST on Aug. 3, the county district attorney’s office said last Thursday.

The release of the mugshot comes as county District Attorney Allison Haley decides whether to file any charges against Paul Pelosi.

“This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County,” the DA’s office wrote.

Fox News previously reported that it filed a public records request for the mug shot and body camera footage, which was denied because the DA’s office determined the release of the records would “jeopardize an ongoing investigation,” the California Highway Patrol said.

“The case pretty much has been buried from the public. There’s been no release of Poppa Paulie’s mug shot. Every attempt has been stonewalled by California officials,” Fox News host Jesse Watters said in a segment last Friday.
