Protesters seen hurling insults and following young woman holding pro-police sign in Omaha

Protesters in Omaha, Nebraska, were seen shouting obscenities and following a young woman holding a pro-police sign.

“Baby girl, you’re not walking away anywhere,” one protester said to the woman, whom journalist Andy Ngo identified as 19-year-old Kelsey McDonald.

The woman was holding a sign that read, “I [heart] OPD,” which ostensibly stands for the Omaha Police Department.

“You think black people being murdered is f—in’ funny, bitch?” the protester said after McDonald smiled.

“Nebraska: BLM-antifa confronted & hurled insults at a 19 year-old woman (Kelsey McDonald) last night who was holding a pro-@OmahaPolice sign outside the police headquarters. They also robbed a mobile phone from one of her friends. #BLM,” Ngo tweeted on Monday, accompanied by a video of the incident.

The woman is seen moving away from the crowd, with the protesters following her. She appeared to move the protester’s hand away from her at one point, prompting the protester to dare her to “put your hands on me, bitch!”

Protests erupted in Omaha after the fatal police shooting of a 35-year-old black man named Kenneth Jones during a traffic stop last Thursday.
