Hasbro announced Friday it will update 16 Monopoly board game “Community Chest” cards to reflect a more contemporary view of the term “community.”
The company said the changes will be the first made to the property trading game in at least 85 years and will ditch prompts such as winning a “beauty contest” or winning “life insurance,” according to a readout posted online.
