D.C. police officer kills man after traffic stop

A Metropolitan Police Department police officer shot and killed a D.C. man during a struggle that followed a routine traffic stop in Northeast Washington Wednesday.

Police said the driver of a black Cadillac Escalade, Gregory Morris, 38, ran from two officers after they tried to pull him over for failing to stop the vehicle at the intersection of Division Avenue and Blaine Street.
