President Trump would have fewer issues if first lady Melania Trump edited his tweets, according to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley.
“The president could solve all of his problems if he would just show his wife the tweet before punching the send button,” the Iowa senator said Tuesday at a Washington Post event.

The first lady has said repeatedly she wished her husband would give up his prolific tweeting.
“I don’t always agree with what he tweets,” she said in Cairo in October. “And I tell him that. I give him my honest opinion and honest advice. And sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn’t. But I have my own voice and my opinions and it’s very important for me that I express what I feel.”
Trump, who has made combating cyberbullying and promoting respectful behavior online part of her “Be Best” initiative, also said she tells the president to put his phone down.
