For Veterans Day, some schools close shop and others stay open with special events. What’s your district doing? If you drove to work today, the traffic patterns probably already tipped you off — but if you’re on pickup duty, here’s the schedule:
D.C. Public Schools: CLOSED
Montgomery: Early-release day for K-8; pickup is after lunch, and report cards are being distributed, so make sure your kid doesn’t come home without one. Tomorrow is also early release for K-8.
Prince George’s: OPEN, but closed tomorrow for parent-teacher conferences.
Fairfax: OPEN
Arlington: CLOSED
Alexandria City: CLOSED for students, but a teacher work-day.
Prince William: CLOSED
Loudoun: OPEN
