The newly opened Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar will host a fundraiser on Thursday, donating 100 percent of the proceeds of food sales to the Trust for the National Mall. The fundraiser will take place during the dinner service, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cuba Libre is raising money to help chip away at the $300 million needed for restoration and preservation of the National Mall.
