Sen. Marco Rubio said Sunday he is fine with President Trump’s plan to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the White House this fall, as long as the administration approaches the Kremlin leader under no “illusions.”
“I don’t have a problem with the president of United States interacting with a president of the Russian Federation,” the Florida Republican said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “They’ve got a lot of nuclear weapons. And so we do need to interact with them.”
