President Trump’s on-again, off-again relationship with Fox News appears to be off again.
The president ripped into the right-leaning network on Wednesday after he disembarked Air Force One in Texas, where he gave remarks on the state of the oil industry.
“I was on Air Force One flying to the Great State of Texas, where I just landed,” Trump tweeted. “It is AMAZING in watching @FoxNews how different they are from four years ago. Not even watchable. They totally forgot who got them where they are!”

While it was not immediately clear what segment caught his attention, it wasn’t the first time the president has slammed the network recently. In May, Trump took a more direct approach in criticizing Fox’s coverage of his first term, accusing the network of failing to “help Republicans” win in 2020 before slamming the cable giant for promoting “garbage” hosts such as Juan Williams.
“Many will disagree, but @FoxNews is doing nothing to help Republicans, and me, get re-elected on November 3rd,” Trump tweeted. “Sure, there are some truly GREAT people on Fox, but you also have some real “garbage” littered all over the network, people like Dummy Juan Williams, Schumerite Chris Hahn, Richard Goodstein, Donna Brazile, Niel Cavuto, and many others. They repeat the worst of the Democrat speaking points, and lies. All of the good is totally nullified, and more. Net Result = BAD! CNN & MSDNC are all in for the Do Nothing Democrats! Fox WAS Great!”

Trump, who is known for his counterintuitive approach to politics and social media, praised network host Greg Gutfeld’s new book, The Plus: Self-Help for People Who Hate Self-Help, released earlier in the day, instructing his supporters to buy it.
