Charlie Hebdo planner killed by US drone strike

The Islamic State militant who planned last year’s attack on French satirical news outlet Charlie Hebdo, was killed in a U.S. drone strike, Defense Department officials confirmed on Friday.

Boubaker el Hakim was killed in the air strike last month in Raqqa, Syria, a region that has become a stronghold for the terrorist group, according to a report.
