Trump: Tom Steyer doesn’t have ‘guts,’ ‘money’ to run for president

President Trump said that liberal billionaire Tom Steyer doesn’t have the guts to run for president.

“Weirdo Tom Steyer doesn’t have the ‘guts’ or money to run for President. He’s all talk!” Trump tweeted late Tuesday night, giving Steyer a new nickname.

Trump made the comments the same day that Steyer rolled out a new ad campaign from his political action committee, Need to Impeach, that targeted districts of congressional members who defend Trump.

In the 30-second ad, Steyer asks which side of history Republican lawmakers want to be on at the end of Trump’s presidency. It will run in the districts of Republican Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Mark Meadows, R-N.C.

Earlier this year, Steyer announced that he would not run for president in 2020, despite rumors that he was considering a run after advocating for Trump’s impeachment and donating $120 million to Democratic candidates ahead of the 2018 election
