Poll shows Trump lead in New Hampshire growing

Donald Trump’s lead in the New Hampshire primary has grown, according a CNN/WMUR tracking poll released Sunday.

The survey found 33 percent of respondents said they were planning to vote for Trump in the Republican presidential primary on Tuesday. That was an increase over a previous CNN/WMUR poll that showed Trump with support from 28 percent.

Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida placed a distant second, drawing support from 16 percent. He was followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (14 percent) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (11 percent). No other candidate reached double digits.

The survey sample included 362 likely Republican primary voters and was conducted from Feb. 3-6. The margin of error is 5.2 percentage points.
