WASHINGTON (AP) — The Army says it’s conducting helicopter flight training in the Washington area, including the I-95 corridor south of the city.
Officials say the one-hour exercise Wednesday morning is the12th Aviation Battalion’s final flight with its current lineup of UH-72 Lakota and VH-60A Blackhawk helicopters. The aircraft will then be sent to Fort Rucker, Ala., and Army museums.
