The commercial spaceflight company Virgin Galactic is launching its first private astronauts into space in its second commercial spaceflight.
The craft, Galactic 02, is slated to launch at 11:30 a.m. EDT. The first commercial spaceflight consisted entirely of Italian air force personnel, so this flight will be the first group of astronauts not involved in the aerospace field to take flight.
