Kellyanne Conway: White House ‘100 percent compliant’ with Mueller

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Friday that the White House has been and will continue to be cooperative with special counsel Robert Mueller.

“This president and everyone around him has been nothing but 100 percent compliant for a year and a half now,” she said on Fox News.

Conway was asked whether any of the written questions President Trump received from Mueller about possible collusion with Russia in the 2016 were being seen as a perjury trap by the president. Conway didn’t address that, but did say charges of collusion have so far not been proven.

“The people who promised they were going to frog-march Donald Trump out of the White House because of Russia collusion two years ago are now bellyaching about something else, all the while he’s complying,” she said.

She said nothing has surfaced to damage Trump, “millions and millions of dollars later, months and months later, 1.4 million pieces of paper, 33-plus people having met with or complied with requests from the Mueller team, including the president of the United States.”

“I’m not privy to the specific questions,” Conway added. “We are walled off from that here at the White House, and rightfully so, but the president has said there’s no Russia collusion, and he’s also said that he’s complying.”
