ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say two women are dead and a third is critically injured following a Tampa Bay area hit-and-run crash.
St. Petersburg police say a four-dour Chrysler 200 was driving the wrong way down a street early Thursday morning when it crashed into a Saturn with three female occupants.
Officials say two of the women — 23-year-old Briana Lequinda Campbell and 21-year-old Jamesia Chera Santoria Lang — remained in the burning car and were pronounced dead at the scene
The woman believed to be the Saturn’s driver, 25-year-old Grace Lashawn Collier, was found lying about 15 feet in front of the car. She was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Authorities are still looking for the Chrysler and any other occupants.
