UFC star Masvidal: ‘Democrats think that they are entitled to the Latino vote’

UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal campaigned for President Trump this week and criticized Democrats who he says feel “entitled” to the Latino vote.

“I’m going to let you in on something,” Masvidal, who is of Cuban and Peruvian descent, said to a crowd of Trump supporters this week. “The Democrats just think that they are entitled to the Latino vote. They think that we just have to hand it over to them.”

Masvidal continued: “They got to show us what they can do for us, what they can do for our communities. We’re not going to buy the same false promises that destroyed great countries like Venezuela and Cuba.”

The welterweight then turned his attention to President Trump’s opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, and accused the Democrat of pandering.

“You know what else is not going to work for them?” Masvidal said. “Playing ‘Despacito’ on your cellphone to pander to us. You got to give us some credit for having heads on our shoulders.”

“I knew @realDonaldTrump was legit when his son @DonaldJTrumpJr told me we share the same diet plan,” Masvidal posted on Instagram this week. “Good food. Good hair. Good riddance socialism. #saynotobigGovt

Masvidal was on the airport runway to greet Trump Thursday as he arrived in Florida for an NBC town hall event.

“Jorge, you’re really tough and really smart,” President Trump tweeted. “My Great Honor to have your support! @GamebredFighter.
