Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Senate GOP leaders will meet Thursday morning with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, a spokesman told the Washington Examiner.
Trump will be in town to huddle with House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who said last week he isn’t ready to endorse Trump yet.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will also hold a meeting between Ryan and Trump.
McConnell, unlike Ryan, said he would back Trump, although his endorsement was lukewarm and followed weeks of direct and veiled criticism aimed at the real estate mogul.
Trump will meet with Senate GOP leaders at the headquarters of the Senate’s campaign arm, which is located near the Capitol.
