A top Democratic lawmaker called President Trump an “ass” Sunday for his retweet of a doctored video in which Trump appears to hit 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with a golf ball.
“clASSy,” Rep. Eric Swalwell wrote on Twitter, emphasizing the word “ass” in response to a news article about Trump’s post on the social media platform.
Earlier, Trump retweeted the GIF in which he tees off on a golf course and then a fake golf ball slams into the back of Clinton as she boards a plane.

Trump’s tweet immediately drew ire from social media users, who criticized the president for finding humor in Clinton being hurt and ginning up violence against his former political opponent.
